Celebrate the grounds crew with Grove House food, music, and invasive mustard weeding.
EcoReps invites students, staff, faculty, and community members to join an ecological celebration honoring the dedicated work of the College’s grounds crew this Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Outback (behind East Residence Hall).
This event brings the campus community together to recognize and appreciate the year-round efforts of the grounds crew in maintaining and caring for our landscape. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in hands-on ecological restoration by removing invasive mustard plants before they seed — an important step in protecting the long-term health and biodiversity of the Outback.
The celebration will include Grove House–catered tamales, baked goods, agua frescas, chips and salsa, as well as music and community fellowship.
The event is open to all members of the campus and surrounding community. Guests are welcome to attend for any portion of the program.
