Katrina Denman

  • Assistant Director of College Writing

Bio

Katrina received a PhD in History from Claremont Graduate University and has worked in writing center spaces across the Claremont Colleges since 2018. She has worked extensively with multilingual, international, and first-gen undergraduate and graduate student writers. She believes successful writing practices are based on conversation and collaboration and always enjoys talking with students and faculty about their ideas and processes. When she isn’t researching women’s history and writing center pedagogies, Katrina is usually reading translated fiction, exploring the outdoors, watching hockey, and spending time with her dogs.
