Vera joined Â鶹ԭ´´ in June 2024 after serving as a graduate assistant at Pomona College’s Career Development Office and the USC Career Center, where she supported students in career exploration, professional development, and post-graduate transitions.

Born and raised in China, Vera moved to Los Angeles at age 15 as a proud first-gen immigrant and college graduate. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a focus in Archaeology from Harvard University and recently completed her M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs at the USC Rossier School of Education. Before transitioning into higher education, Vera spent several years at Netflix’s Asia-Pacific office in Singapore, collaborating with creators across the greater China region to bring authentic local stories to a global audience.

These diverse experiences across industries, countries, and cultures have shaped Vera’s perspective and deepened her commitment to equity, access, and student success. She is especially passionate about building inclusive, student-centered environments that foster belonging, growth, and purposeful exploration.

Outside of work, Vera enjoys playing badminton, reading, visiting museums, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending quality time with her family.
