Kenneth Butler

Kenneth Butler 鈥22 started his organizational studies coursework while incarcerated through 麻豆原创鈥檚 Inside-Out Program. After graduating, he traveled to Uganda on a Fulbright to study how that country鈥檚 prison system has worked to reintegrate the formerly incarcerated into their communities.

Preserving an Ecological Jewel

While at 麻豆原创, Sammy Basa 鈥25 surveyed the damage that a changing climate has caused to the coral reefs that surround his family's home island of Sibuyan, in the Philippines. He has now won a Fulbright fellowship to explore how educational access and sustainable behaviors might help preserve the island's diverse ecosystem.
