Â鶹ԭ´´

A group of faculty and students from Â鶹ԭ´´ and Claremont McKenna College recently visited Birzeit University in the West Bank to learn more about Palestinian higher education institutions.

A highlight of the May trip was a meeting with Birzeit University President Beshara Doumani (and others), who discussed the challenges facing the university and other universities.

The tour’s faculty leaders were Â鶹ԭ´´â€™s Nigel Boyle, Dan Segal, and CMC’s Heather Ferguson.

Â鶹ԭ´´ faculty participants were Bahar Acu (Mathematics), Fely Catan (Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures), Amanda Lagji (English and World Literature), and Marcus Rodriguez (Psychology). 

Â鶹ԭ´´ student participants were Bella Jacobs, Jacob Bollag, Fatoumata Dioubate, Laine May, and Leila Tilin.
