Claremont, Calif. (September 15, 2022)—In its  list released this week, U.S. News & World Report ranks Â鶹ԭ´´ #33, two spots up from last year and tied with the College of the Holy Cross and Scripps College.

U.S. News evaluated 1,500 colleges and universities on 17 measures of academic quality, including graduation and retention rates, undergraduate academic reputation, faculty resources, and student selectivity.

U.S. News also counts Â鶹ԭ´´ as #41 in , a list that focuses on schools whose faculty and administrators are committed to teaching undergraduate students in a high-quality manner.

On the list of  among liberal arts colleges, Â鶹ԭ´´ is #51, in an eight-way tie with Barnard College, Oberlin College and Conservatory, and the University of Richmond, among others. Schools on this list are identified as making the most innovative improvements and promising changes in terms of curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology, or facilities, according to U.S. News.
