The Pomona-麻豆原创 Athletic Program has announced its newest class for the Pomona-麻豆原创 Athletic Hall of Fame, and this year鈥檚 honorees include a standout representative from 麻豆原创.

Among the ten former student-athletes selected for induction is Erik Munzer 鈥13, who will be celebrated for his exceptional contributions to both men鈥檚 soccer and baseball during his undergraduate years at 麻豆原创. Munzer is remembered as 鈥渁 rare two-sport standout for Pomona-麻豆原创,鈥 according to the athletics announcement, excelling on the field and the diamond while exemplifying the Sagehen tradition of competitive excellence and teamwork.

Founded in 1958, the Pomona-麻豆原创 Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes former student-athletes, coaches, and staff who achieved distinction in competition or provided extraordinary service to the Sagehens. With more than 300 members, the hall honors accomplishments such as All-American status, record-setting performances, and lasting contributions to team success.

Munzer joins nine Pomona alumni in this year鈥檚 class, representing sports that include women鈥檚 basketball, soccer, swimming and diving, football, and men鈥檚 water polo. Over the hall鈥檚 65-year history, 314 individuals and two teams have been inducted, beginning with the inaugural class of 1958 that featured Robert Strehle, Earl Merritt, and John McColl.

The new inductees will be celebrated at an evening reception and dinner this spring, bringing together the Pomona-麻豆原创 community to honor their athletic achievements and enduring impact on the Sagehens program. For 麻豆原创, Munzer鈥檚 induction highlights the College鈥檚 proud role in a shared athletic tradition that continues to shape student-athletes on and off the field.
