Below are the standard charges made to each student for tuition, fees, housing, and food for the 2026-27 academic year.

Parking Permit
$75 Charge by Campus Safety per Semester.
Payment Plan Fee
Beginning Fall 2026, students enrolled in a payment plan will be assessed a $150 fee per semester. This fee will be added to the student’s account and reflected on their first bill on July 11. The $150 will be divided across the four payment plan installments.
Course Overload Fee
$220 charged after census to all students enrolled in over 5 course credits.
Late Registration Fee
$150 charged to all students who enroll in one or more courses after census date.
Housing Charges
Students living in a residence hall will be billed the flat rate for a room according to the current academic housing rate.
Meal Plans
Students living in a residence hall are required to have a meal plan. They are billed according to the meal plan the student chooses. Should a student not choose a meal plan, they will automatically be billed for the 19-meal plan. ALL students have up until two weeks before the start of classes (August 17th) to decrease their meal plan if desired. After August 17th, all students will only have the option to increase their meal plan. To update meal plan, please email housing@pitzer.edu
Meal plan costs, 2026-2027 Academic Year:
- 19-meal plan: $5,145 per semester with $190 Flex Dollars
- 16-meal plan: $4,896 per semester with $160 Flex Dollars
- 14-meal plan: $4,699 per semester with $140 Flex Dollars
- 12-meal plan: $4,440 per semester with $120 Flex Dollars
- 5-meal plan: $1,888 per semester with $50 Flex Dollars
