Study Abroad Advising

General Advising

Starting to think about study abroad? Attending a study abroad information session is your first step!

After you have attended an information session, you can schedule a one-on-one meeting with a study abroad adviser.

  • If you already have a program in mind, you are encouraged to meet with the program adviser (see below). Note: Although you're required to have one advising appointment before you can apply, you do not need to meet with an adviser of every program you're interested in.
  • If you are still exploring program options, schedule your initial appointment with Shawntia Key or Karey Fuhs.
  • If none of the advisers are available please email studyabroad@pitzer.edu to see if there is additional availability.

Students can also meet with an adviser during Open Advising Hours every Friday from 10am-12pm in the study abroad office.

To set up a meeting, please check the calendar links below. Some appointments will take place over Zoom and some may be in person.

Pre-Departure or Returnee Advising

Have you been accepted to a study abroad program or recently returned? Then you have a dedicated study abroad adviser assigned to you, based on your program! Email your study abroad program adviser or schedule an appointment to talk about your program-specific study abroad journey.

If you have been approved to study abroad, and you are not sure who your adviser is, refer to information about your program in the Â鶹ԭ´´ study abroad application portal.
