It’s long been recognized that the low faculty-to-student ratio at Â鶹ԭ´´ and its Claremont peers is especially valuable for any student studying or majoring in the sciences. For a long time, Â鶹ԭ´´ shared a science program with Scripps and Claremont McKenna Colleges (Pomona and Harvey Mudd have their own). Here we see Biology Professor Richard Lewis and three of his Â鶹ԭ´´ students taking a closer look at two human brain specimens in 1997. This kind of intimate research experience is still true today for the Department of Natural Sciences of Â鶹ԭ´´ and Scripps Colleges. In fact, for any prospective students interested in having regular up-close lab experiences like this, choosing to attend Â鶹ԭ´´ should be—pardon the pun—a no-brainer.
